Raised by raccoons in a cave by the Yadkin River, Darrell eventually learned to walk
upright and attended the Southwest Davidson County School for the Web-footed
Primates. He excelled at Advanced Harpoonery and joined the ROTCCG reaching the
position of Reserve Chief Petty Officer Seventh Class.
In 1968 he full-filled his life-long ambition of growing a moustache. It's still there,
although a little grayer.
Happy 66th Darrell, hope we can all live that long.
